My story
Little love story: My lovely husband Eduardo and I met working on a cruise ship! We sailed from Miami to the Bahamas and managed to fall in love quite quickly. Ship life dating = speed dating on land! Through the many ups and downs we stayed strong and our relationship grew and blossomed.
Eduardo is from Brazil and I lived in Australia so there were a few things we had to process to see if this relationship could really work out.
Time went by and he proposed to me in Brazil!!
... and guess what? I said …YES!
Eduardo flew to Australia on a holiday visa and the rest is history!
In 2017 we were married at the Shangri-La The Rocks in Sydney. Eduardo's close family flew over from Brazil - for some of them, this was their first trip overseas!
It was a wonderful day celebrating love, connection and family! I enjoyed every moment of the day and was so thankful that everything ran smoothly!
However, whilst I enjoyed the wedding planning process & working with the venue coordinator, I felt that I could have benefited from some additional assistance.
At the start I said to myself "this is manageable, I can handle it” but as time grew shorter, I realised there were additional stresses I did NOT need nor had the time to handle!…
